Teardown

There are three entry points: The tablet, the base and the backplate below the wireless charging surface.

Tablet

Start by removing the screw above the USB A port. Use a guitar pick to detach the screen. Carefully remove the screen, and unplug the cable connecting it while doing so.

Unscrew the two PH000 screws holding the center cable. Then, unscrew the four screws attaching the tablet backplate to the head tilt motor. Remove the backplate.

Remove the soft speaker cover with a guitar pick. Unscrew the two screws at the top. Remove the plastic frame covering the speaker with your hands.

You will have to continue with the second entry point, the backplate.

Backplate

Use a flathead to pop open the black cover. Unscrew the two screws. Remove the entire curved backplate with your hands. After removing two screws, remove the flat backplate below.

Base

Unscrew the two screws holding the battery cover. Unplug the battery. Unscrew all the screws visible from below. You can now access the motherboard. Continue with the tablet or backplate before trying to remove anything else.
